At smilefocus our goal is to meet the expectations of every patient who visits our dental clinic in Singapore. We understand that feeling great about your smile is very important, and so is the professional, high quality treatment and service you receive, and the empathy and understanding you sometimes need when you are in pain and/or distress.
who we are
Dr Cooney established his dental clinics in Singapore in 1997, after being in private practice for more than twelve years in Australia. He created his
dental clinic Singapore to replicate the feel and focus of his Australian dental clinics. At smilefocus the emphasis is always on a friendly welcome, stylish comfort, hygienic cleanliness and the best of modern treatment methods.
Smilefocus has a team of highly experienced overseas and locally qualified expatriate and local dentists, including four dentists with specific expertise in braces, children’s dentistry, crown & bridge and root canal therapy. Supported by nursing and administration personnel from around the world, smilefocus offers the full range of dental care.
From very small children to adults we provide routine preventative care to very complex treatments. We help people achieve the smile they want – whether for health reasons, to enhance self-esteem or simply to look beautiful.

Your time and comfort is our priority.
We try not to keep you waiting because we understand the tight schedules of business people and busy parents. We are open 5½ days per week with flexible hours, to make arranging your appointment easier. Our friendly customer services staff are always ready to help coordinate your visit.
Our waiting area has been specifically designed for your comfort. While you are enjoying tea or freshly brewed coffee and the latest magazines, your children can play in our specially designed ‘kids’ waiting room equipped with toys, books, video entertainment and X-box games.
Nervous patients can be very confident that our dentists and customer services staff will make their visit comfortable and as stress-free as it is possible for their visit to be.
And by the way, we can offer translations in Danish, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Malay and Mandarin for those patients who prefer to communicate in these languages.
